I’ve been working with Alena at Leading Edge for 2-3 months now! I am so grateful to have a someone who is trained in prenatal exercise to support me in my pregnancy so my body stays strong and supported as I grow! Alena listens to me and creates workout plans based on my individual needs and body. Can’t recommend enough if you’re pregnant and looking for support. I also really appreciate that everyone is fully vaccinated and willing to wear a mask indoors. I feel really looked after and like I’m in good hands!

I reached my heaviest weight this year after giving birth and trying some other programs, bingeing hours on cardio, and working a desk job. Kern helped me identify and address my slow metabolism. I’m now eating double what I averaged when we started and I’m building muscle and losing weight at the same time. He recommended a macro nutrient based diet that works for me. I’m not deprived of any nutrients my body needs which makes for a great long term solution. I’ve learned portion control and how to enjoy some treats in moderation. I’m down 17 lbs and down four sizes in my work uniform. My posture has improved tremendously and I’m weight training at levels I’ve never reached in my life. The best part of this experience is that Kern is a very competent nutritionist and fitness coach. “We started training with Kern 10 weeks before our wedding. Neither of us had ever worked with a trainer before and we had very different workout routines. Still, we were committed to doing it together. Kern was able to personalize our sessions, adding weight for David when needed an extra glutes and legs for Lindsey. He even challenged us with partner work. The circuits were creative, never something you could find on YouTube, and a ton of fun. We looked forward to it every week and were very happy with the results. Kern also taught us how to track our macros so that we reached our ideal weights and body shapes by wedding day.
